Why is Motivation important?

Motivation is necessary for us to succeed and prosper. If we have no motivation, then the small efforts needed to make big changes are simply not made. Hypnotherapy can help to get you (and keep you) enthusiastic about your goals.

Creating motivation is one of the vital ingredients to creating lasting, beneficial change. At home, at work or school, during sports and fitness or even learning a new hobby or skill – being well motivated (or not) can be the difference between success and failure.

How many times have you thought:

  • I wish I could get a better job
  • I wish I could lose weight
  • I wish I could stop smoking
  • I wish I could have more confidence
  • I wish I could be happier
  • I wish I could worry less
  • I wish I could stop procrastinating
  • I wish I could (you can put your own in here!)

All these things (and many more) are achievable, given the right level of motivation. Stop wishing and start doing!

Hypnotherapy and Motivation

Hypnotherapy can help, firstly by helping you to set genuine, achievable goals, and then by assisting your subconscious mind to visualise how wonderful it will feel when these goals are reached. Your subconscious mind can then work away in the background, helping you make small changes that help towards your goal. Then, as you consciously notice your target goal becoming more and more likely, your motivation automatically increases – a snowball effect. It’s no coincidence that people who are ‘naturally’ motivated individuals tend to be the highest achievers – the rest of us can become motivated too – we just need a little help!
