It is important to choose a qualified practitioner who has undertaken all the necessary training to understand the theory and practice of aromatherapy, reflexology and aromatherapy. You can check whether a reflexologist, aromatherapist or massage therapist is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) by searching the register at www.cnhc.org.uk. By choosing a practitioner  who are registered with the CNHC you can be confident that they are properly trained, qualified and insured.

The other added advantage of using a CNHC registered therapist is that sometimes the costs are covered by a private healthcare provider. Are you with Medicash, Westfield Health, Health Shield, UK Healthcare, Benenden or another Private Healthcare plan, even through work? Did you know that you can claim back some, or even ALL of your complementary therapy fees, dependent on your chosen therapist’s qualifications and registrations and your healthcare plan.

One such registration is with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). You can check if your therapist is properly registered here:

https://www.cnhcregister.org.uk/newsearch/

The CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of health practitioners. CNHC’s register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament.

At Crow Valley Therapies, we have CNHC-registered therapists offering:
